Musicology

Musicology is a hat containing MTV Gold prime time programming, spanning from live concerts to documentary, from interviews to videoclips.
The look needed to fit the retro/vintage style of the MTV Gold channel identity. I decided to give the show-package a distinctive look through transitions, in order to express a sense of variety and choice like some kind of retro-futuristic jukebox. These colourful transitions were meant to unify several visual quotes from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
I took care of art-direction, design, 3d and compositing.
